Located in the southern part of old Tashkent near the former gate of Beshagach, madrasa of Amir Timur is reminiscent of the beauty of the ancient architecture of Tashkent. Archaeological research, historical documents, and folk legends tell us that “the first stone” madrasa of Amir Timur was founded in the early nineteenth century. Madrasa of Amir Timur is a statue of Amir Timur Khan, the great thinker of his time. In ethnographic materials 1908 N. Ostroumov described this monument as one of “the most honorable of residence, which is known not only in Tashkent, but also in its surroundings”. The Amir Timur Khan paid about 30 thousand rubles for the construction of the madrasah and every year paid teaching 150 students. Kanaka MUI Muborak became part of the building madrassas, which is one of the most impressive historical buildings in the city.
